First things first… Pura Vida mis amigos! If you go to Costa Rica, you will hear and see this motto everywhere. Pura Vida means Pure Life, don’t take life for granted. Costa Ricans live in the moment and that is how Pura Vida came about. Perhaps it is because Costa Rica is one of the happiest countries in the world! Costa Rica is an amazing place and provides an incredible experience. This isn’t your typical spring break, party vacation. The GradCity Costa Rica Adventure Trip offers much more than just a tropical destination, it offers beauty and adventure. The Adventure Trip to Jaco, Costa Rica includes two excursions on your trip. Jaco has an unreal 4 Kilometer-Long beach and all inclusive hotels. The Costa Rica isn’t just some vacation, it is a full blown experience.

There is an outdoor large swimming pool. The overall price of $1,899 includes hotel and round trip airfare. There are activities to do such as kayaking, tennis, volleyball, and more. There is also free WiFi provided at the Double Tree. Don’t forget that the price includes two excursions in your trip too! There will also be nightly entertainment at the Double Tree, live music, and a midnight lounge.

The other hotel that GradCity offers is actually the same price of $1,899. This is the Best Western Jaco Beach hotel. This hotel has beautiful beach front views and is about an hour away from the San Jose Airport. There is a restaurant, a pool bar, and a snack bar available at the hotel. This hotel along with the Double Tree is also all inclusive! As most places in Costa Rica, Best Western is environmentally friendly. There are activities such as volleyball, tennis, and plenty to do on the beach front property! There is free WiFi provided at the Best Western.

poolAnother great fact about Costa Rica is that there money is super easy to exchange! It is easy to get money from ATM’s as well as exchange US Dollars for Colones. As you can see this picture explains how the currencies match up. Costa Rican money is worth two times the amount of American money. It is definitely one of the easier currencies to convert and understand!

If you are worried about a language barrier, there is no need to be worried! The first language in Costa Rica is Spanish, but the second most used language is English. There will be staff to help translate if needed. It wouldn’t hurt to brush up on a few simple Spanish phrases before you head down!
